There is a way...If you lost mirandas loyalty because you didn't have enough paragon or renegade all you have to do is get whatever one of these near the top (very near!) then go down and speak with Miranda. It will give you the option to say that you were humoring jack and that you were only trying to resolve it. This will give you the loyalty back, but there will be no romance allowed any more.Mass effect 2 video game question 10 pts best answer?
It's either one or the other (or both, by passing the paragon/renegade check) as mentioned.

If you are trying to keep everyone alive... have everyone loyal (if possible)
1) send a tech specialist into the pipe (Tali or Legion)
2) have a loyal second group leader (Miranda or Garrus)
3) Have a loyal party member escort the surviving crew
4) Take the nonloyal biotic to keep the bubble around you.

There is no way to regain either of their loyalty after you lose it in the fight, the only way to not lose either of their loyalty during the fight it to have almost full paragon or renegade.
you can regain it if your paragon or renegade is, literally, FULL.
