Mass Effect 3 same engine as Mass Effect 2 ?

I recently saw some videos from the e3 expo where mass effect 3 was displayed...

Im definitely amazed, but the graphics seem to be the same as mass effect 2 ...

Maybe it's because it was played on xbox 360 and not pc maybe the pc version looks better..

What's your opinion ?Mass Effect 3 same engine as Mass Effect 2 ?
well its to do with this.

Mass effect 3 Engine's
Microsoft Windows: Unreal Engine 3 modified %26gt;(Unreal Engine 3.5 not verified)%26lt;
Xbox 360, PlayStation 3: Mass Effect 3 engine (modified Unreal Engine)

Mass effect 2 Engine's
Microsoft Windows: Unreal Engine 3
Xbox 360, PlayStation 3: Mass Effect 3 engine

So you can see that 360 %26amp; PS3 are prity much using the same engine its a shame thy didn't w8 till 2012-2018 to bring this game out as the Unreal Engine 4 comes out around that time.Mass Effect 3 same engine as Mass Effect 2 ?
ME2 and ME3 both use a modified version of Unreal Engine 3. When promoting the PS3 release they said it used the ME3 engine, but later a developer confirmed on the forums that's is the same engine as ME2 but with some tweaks.

Officially there is no such thing as Unreal Engine 3.5.Mass Effect 3 same engine as Mass Effect 2 ?
It uses Unreal Engine 3.5, which is still a pretty amazing engine. Unreal is up there with Cryengine and Source IMO. Very good. I'm okay with the fact they're keeping it, as long as they work on textures. It's always annoyed me that the textures for NPC's clothing, and various other objects is so 2004.
