How can I send a video game to my friend over the net, ex. with email, etc?

I want to copy and send a file of a PC video game called Mass Effect to my friend. I have his email but I'm sure the file is too big to send using the attachment file on yahoo. Are there any other methods? Is this even possible in the first place? And last question, which file should I send; the .exe file, or the whole folder?How can I send a video game to my friend over the net, ex. with email, etc?
