I recently beat the video game Mass Effect 2 and am interested in reading some Space Opera science fiction. Does anyone have any suggestions for fans of that particular video game series?Space Opera for fans of Mass Effect?
The most famous one is of course the Foundation series, by Isaac Asimov. The original trilogy is awesome. From Asimov also "The Caves of Steel" and "Pebble in the Sky".
I also liked the David Brin's Uplift Universe series and A Fire Upon the Deep by Vernor Vinge. Harry Harrison and Jack Vance wrote some good ones as well.
Classic ones are the Buck Rogers and Perry Rhodan series.Space Opera for fans of Mass Effect?
