Is the end of Mass Effect really the end?

I just completed Mass Effect and was disappointed to see the credit role after an epic video. Does this mean that I cannot continue and complete side quests now that the main one is done?Is the end of Mass Effect really the end?
yea, just go back to your earliest save before landing on the prothean ruin place and play the side quests. Go back even earlier if you want to be able to go to citadel. If you feel it ended too soon wait for Mass effect 2.Is the end of Mass Effect really the end?
Yea, you had to do the side missions before doing all the main ones. You can always start a new game and do all the sides this time. But if you rented the game, i woudn't waste my time on ALL the sides on all few to lvl up because i read it takes about 30 hours of gameplay for all of it so if you bought it, go nuts.Is the end of Mass Effect really the end?
Well, you can "continue" Mass Effect. Basically you start a new game with your old characters and what not.



Personally I've never gotten this to work nor has anyone I know. It just keeps kicking you back to your last save. However if you do a quick google search you'll see people talking about it. Also I asked a Bioware (Mass Effect's developer) rep this at GenCon Indy this year and they confirmed that you CAN continue a game in the mannor listed above...I just personally can't get it to work.
