Why is Mass Effect 2 so awesome?

I've never been much of a video game person. In fact, this school year has been so busy with academics and sports, that I haven't played a single video game since December. However, my dad got Mass Effect 2 5 days ago, and I've played about 12 hours.Why is Mass Effect 2 so awesome?

maybe as you said you have not seen good games for a while my friend.you are right,games have got very enhanced %26amp; very impressive these years,

but there are better games in graphics than ME 2 like,

Assassin's Creed 2 with complete day %26amp; night cycles,that's unbelievable,it has got Scimitar2 Engine.Ubisoft has got a lot bigger.

games like Resident Evil 5,i believe it is the best game ever released on PC,you won't believe it's Dynamics %26amp; Textures quality.Capcom is a big name as we remember in Devil May Cry Series.

also Call of Juarez II is incredible in graphics specially in Textures %26amp; also in controls.you won't believe unless you play it.

%26amp; in War games Call of Duty Modern Warfare II is just excellent.

it's amazing because of the crossover from 1, the intricate story telling and characters, combat and the fact that it is unique for each person who plays it from their choices made through the series so far.
