OK VIDEO GAME QUESTION. MASS EFFECT ONE?

OK I JUST FINISHED MASS EFFECT ONE (ya i know i'm a lil slow) AND AM GETTING READY TO GET ME2 HOW IMPORTANT ARE MY CHOICES FROM GAME ONE IN RELATION TO GAME 2 I HEARD THE ME1 CHOICES AFFECT ME2 GAME PLAY? / TRUE NOT TRUE.?..I DID NOT SAVE THE COUNCIL AND I SAVED THE MASTER CHIEF NOT THE LT. OK HEADED TO THE STORE TOMORROW. THANKS FOR THE INPUT FOLKS.OK VIDEO GAME QUESTION. MASS EFFECT ONE?
**MAJOR SPOILERS WARNING (I think)**



There's a few specifics that some people leave out. And yes, the choices you make are very important in relation to how ME2 plays out.



First decision you'll make is your looks. Suprised? Yes, the specifications on your character's face change from ME1 to ME2. If you want the face of your ME1 character, you can load it. If you try to re-create your old ME1 face in ME2, it won't be the same. The options are different. I personally liked the face options in ME1 better.



The second is whether or not Wrex died. I don't find this very important, but to some people it makes all the difference. It WILL, in fact, help you in the second game if he survives though.



The third is whether you saved Ashley Williams or Kaiden Alenko (or however you spell it). You'll meet up with one of them in one of your first missions, and possibly on the Normandy at the beginning of ME2. The one that died gets a tribute (I think).



The fourth is whether or not you saved the council. The old council will meet you in ME2, but the new one (if the old one died) won't have any basis with you, and will therefore pretty much ignore you.



The fifth is the status of your departure from ME1. Having an expendable income somewhat rolls over into ME2, and if I'm not mistaken, so does completing ME1.



So yeah, the big 3 decisions are Wrex, Ashley/Kaiden, and the council.OK VIDEO GAME QUESTION. MASS EFFECT ONE?
Though there are a few that do minimley show up on mass effect 2 which are going to be huge choices in mass effect 3. like the rachni queen. if you choose to save her. She will send a asari to illium and tell you she is ready.

Well there is no major change except in story, the relation is true. If you didn't save the council you don't see them. It affects STORY not gameplay. Same gameplay and you still beat the game the same way. If you didn't save Wrex, he's dead and not the ruler, his brother is, etc. just replay the game with choices you want. And please, no caps on, its annoying.
