Bad compression only exists in illegal copies. Are you asking for people to illegally upload their files so you could enjoy your pirated copy more?
If you do have a legal copy then the videos just look bad because it's an Xbox port. The Xbox version runs at a very low resolution (1280x720) and the cinematics are unfortunately not enhanced for PC versions. If you're playing on a high resolution monitor, like me, then these cinematics are pretty painful to look at.
